The Taiwanese artist loses (and finds) herself in a whimsical Italian summer daydream
2025 has been a hectic year for 9m88 (pronounced Jo-Am-Baba). The Taiwanese singer-songwriter and actress recently starred in Girl (directed by Shu Qi), a heartfelt coming-of-age drama, which was nominated for the Golden Lion at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. She’s been performing across Asia for her “I Just Want To Sing For You” tour. Following the release of her EP This Temporary Ensemble, Vol. 2, she’s set to perform at BLUE NOTE PLACE Tokyo and at Hong Kong’s The Box, Freeepace, WestK.
